PROBLEM STATEMENTS + SOLUTIONS


Create wireframes for the game menus + HUD to empower players to be confident and capable

Advocate for the player at every level of the design so the team can build alignment and our players can be holistically represented as we pioneer a brand new action game

Design a combat system that rewards players for their creativity and mastery giving them a deep engagement with power

Develop an effective tutorial to teach players necessary information and instill them with the confidence to utilize the mechanics at their disposal

Used Figma, Adobe XD, and Unreal Engine 5 Widgets to develop strong wireframes and final mockups

For fundamental insights, conducted market research into games in our target genre

What I Learned


This project was a strong source of growth for me as a designer and team member. I learned how to better

communicate in a large team, as well as how important it is to do good market research and be a

consistent voice for your players. After all, your game wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for them.

But the biggest takeaway, is that I am never done growing. Everything I am now and everything I will be

is never a peak. Instead, a new height I can use as motivation to climb higher, grow more, and design better.
